Instructor Information

Thank you for your interest in becoming one of the FIRST Makers Takeover Instructors! How exciting!

 Before you apply, please review the following important details:

1. Application: This form is just the first step. If your application is approved, you’ll receive an email with our Instructor Contract Package.  You’ll have 21 days to sign and return it.

2. All instructors agree to provide photos, logos, and descriptions for promotional use. This will allow MT to showcase your class for promotional purposes. 

3. Instructors are responsible for bringing their own instructing supplies unless we’ve agreed otherwise. For example, if you need a special tool like an iPad.

4. Life happens sometimes. If you need to cancel your instructor commitment, please let us know a minimum of 120 days in advance. This gives us time to find a replacement instructor.

5. By participating as an MT Instructor you agree to hold harmless and indemnify Makers Takeover LLC, along with our staff and volunteers, from any liability or loss that might arise during your class.

6. We expect all instructors to maintain a professional, inclusive, and safe learning environment for everyone.
